Bringing the advisor and consumer angle to assessment of value

I am an aspiring fund board iNED with a good understanding of the value for money assessment. Having reviewed many of the first round of reports, I can identify cultural drivers that have influenced both the content and presentation of the reports. My experience in retail investment management as Head of Investment Services and Chair of an ESG Advisory Board delivers the DFM and consumer angle needed to develop the reports into something that is easier for advisers, DFMs and consumers to understand, whilst also giving me the knowledge to appreciate the complexities of a fund board’s role.
